Patriotic Rooms Worthy of Year-Round Use

There is something about Americana decor that thrills me. Mix a little red, white, blue, and throw in a star pattern, a rooster, and a variation of the American flag or two and I’ll happily have a John Philip Sousa march playing in my head all day long.

Perhaps it is that these colors remind me of the sacrifice that our ancestors made to establish our country. Perhaps it is the pride that stirs up within me when I see these colors altogether. Perhaps seeing all that red, white, and blue prompts me to share a few tidbits about our country’s history with my family. Perhaps I really do feel more free when I am surrounded by the vibrant colors of our heritage.

Whatever the reason, we think that red, white, and blue home decor should not be confined to just the month of July. Small vignettes are wonderful, but Americana decor can bring a unique style to your home that is classic enough to use year-round.

However you decide to decorate for the 4th of July this week, we wish everyone a happy and safe holiday! We would also like to say a special thank you to the men and women of the armed forces that keep us safe!  We are so thankful for your service to our country.  We hope you know that when we celebrate Independence Day, we celebrate you!
